Freedom from Alcohol

If you’ve ever struggled with alcohol problems, you know how frustrating it can be to try different programs only to see that nothing works. Relapse is common. A desire to give up looking for a cure is understandable. If you feel utterly stuck - I can help you. Because I’ve helped thousands of clients who were similarly stuck and are now relapse-free with zero desire to fall back into alcohol addiction.

It comes down to this: what future do you want for yourself? If you want a future full of health and mental strength to not depend on alcohol, this can be programmed into your subconscious. Whatever fears and issues you may have had in the past can be removed by skillfully tapping into your neural network. It’s a lifestyle choice, because with just a few sessions of hypnotherapy you can lead a life where your past problems will no longer stand in your way. You can find your true passions, pursue your dreams, attend social and professional situations with the confidence that your mind’s addictive behavior is firmly in the past.

In my extensive, decades long study of the scientific progress in American and global approaches to treatment of addictive behavior, I can definitively tell you that excessive desire for alcohol is NOT some incurable, lifelong sickness.

To someone without extensive training, it would seem mind-boggling that someone who failed for years to avoid relapse after trying every program out there, could completely get rid of the addictive behavior after just a few sessions. Yet that’s exactly what happens to those whom I help. With my academic and practical therapeutic background, I can prove to you that your mind’s desire for alcohol is just a habit - powerful, hard to resist, but still just a habit. And a habit can be modified. Our brain is meant to be flexible - even in fully developed adults. Evolution trained us to adapt to life’s many dangers. Studies verified that hypnotism is more effective than just therapy or a placebo in treating substance abuse disorders. And that’s exactly what my sessions show: within 1-3 months, most of those I take on completely lose the desire to relapse into alcohol overconsumption.

It works by tapping into your subconscious and showing your brain a future without alcohol issues. Instead of old habits tempting you to get drunk, hypnosis done by a specially trained professional can program your neural pathways to enjoy a different pattern of behavior - a pattern with casual alcohol consumption or none at all. Instead of seeking out alcohol, your brain can avoid it or be satisfied with just a reasonable amount.

In a 2003 study, German scientists found hypnotherapy almost twice as effective as therapy alone for addictive behavior - with the success rate improving from 37% to 64% in those clients whose comprehensive treatment included hypnotherapy.

When changing habits, it’s vital to be guided by a top professional. As you can see in my credentials, I’ve mastered some of the top programs in the nation. Yet, that is not enough. The reason my sessions are so effective at preventing relapse are in my extensive study of the Soviet alcohol hypnosis system. That system was developed over 100 years ago based on research from world-leading psychologists and doctors. Only medical professionals were allowed to perform therapeutic hypnosis. As a result, their understanding of psychology and their practical ability to modify addictive behavior reached an exceptionally high level.

With astonishing effectiveness, the Soviet system is able to reprogram the brain into not wanting to pursue the destructive habit anymore, especially alcohol consumption. This system withstood the test of over 100 years and millions of clients successfully treated. Combining the Soviet and American systems, I created what I found to be the strongest system in the world. Having successfully used this approach on my clients for over a decade, I can vouch for its effectiveness and safety.

Between my research into addiction, my knowledge of both Soviet and American systems, and my expert understanding of how to modify the brain’s neuroplasticity, I can pinpoint the exact changes that need to happen on a subconscious level for your cravings to vanish - for good. The most satisfying part of my job is seeing those whom I helped get a better life have no desire whatsoever to resume their addictive behavior. If you want a powerful, proven, and immediately effective way to get your life back, you owe it to yourself to come in for a consultation.

Let’s be clear: I do not give you medical advice and do not help you detox - you should do that in a hospital or another appropriate place. However, once you have detoxed, preventing relapse is the most crucial step for you to escape the cycle of addiction and have a chance at a much brighter future. My methodology simply does not exist in treatment centers or addiction treatment programs. And that’s exactly because the fundamental difference of looking at alcohol cravings as a lifelong sickness to be managed or a habit that can be modified once and for all. My hypnotherapy takes the latter approach - and effectively proves it within a few sessions spread over 1-3 months. You’re always welcome to join a lifelong treatment or support program. It’s just that my clients don’t have a need for it after going through my relapse therapy.

Think of your brain as a computer’s hard drive. It starts off perfectly functional, but data gets corrupted along the way. Most people just accept their computer being slower and try fixing it by restarting every hour. But computer programmers can run a quick fix of the way files are organized so the computer functions as good as new. Similarly, my hypnosis methodology overwrites your brain’s alcohol path with a path that has zero need for overconsumption.

With my expertise, hypnotherapy is not just effective in over 90% of cases, but is completely safe and non-invasive. In extremely oversimplified terms, my method is to have a conversation with your subconscious and convince it that addictive behavior is not in its interest.

Hypnotherapy has been successful in treated alcohol issues for years, even while very little was known about how the brain could just turn off the desire for alcohol via the subconscious mind. Through my work with alcoholics, I’ve felt their sense of hopelessness - after failing to shake off their addictive behaviors despite years of various support programs.

So I started helping them by turning to the science of how the brain works. My hypnotherapy specifically uses techniques that reprogram the triggers in the brain that normally cause self-sabotage. By ridding brain of trauma and redirecting the brain’s neural network towards healthy behavior, I’m able to stop the individuals from relapsing. With the fear of relapse gone, they are able to lead a better life in a brighter future. And that’s exactly what makes me so happy about doing my work.

Here is the most important part: your identity is not that of an addict. You are a healthy individual with just a few bad habits. Own your healthy identity, not an addict one. Don’t identify yourself as an alcoholic. Don’t reinforce it by “admitting” your alcoholism in support groups over and over again. My method is to prove to you - quickly and definitively - that you are not a recovering alcoholic. Alcoholism is not you. You are you. Your deepest, true self identity needs to be healthy. And I can get you back towards your authentic, healthy self.

It’s important to understand that hypnosis doesn’t do anything that your brain doesn’t already do: your brain is changing constantly, adapting all the time. That’s the essence of neuroplasticity. My method simply guides it towards a change that is healthy. That’s why it works so well and so quickly. It’s up to you whether to consider yourself a lifelong addict or to get rid of the bad habit within 1-3 months and return to your happy, healthy self. Your brain is open for either.

Dr. Natalia Shmidt

Hypnotist

There is a reason so many people come to Dr. Shmidt for hypnotherapy after their other treatment options elsewhere have failed. With extensive training, certifications, and licensing in key areas of alcohol and smoking cessation, pediatric hypnosis, and thinner band hypnosis, she is able to achieve remarkable and consistent results in patients after only a few months of sessions.

Research has shown that, in those who are hypnotizable, hypnosis affects certain brain regions. As a result, hypnotherapy is able to openly examine - and modify - behaviors. This allows trained practitioners like Dr. Shmidt to improve people’s lives by reprogramming the brain into positive, quality of life enhancing behaviors.

The modification of behavior leads to a healthier lifestyle where positive actions happen naturally. This is the essence of Dr. Shmidt’s unique and powerful expertise.
